Kris Bush MSc CPsychol |
Kris Bush is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist; a specialist in understanding people's behaviour and performance in the workplace, both at an individual, team and wider organisational level. Not surprisingly her work has focussed on the individual, the team and the organsation. The Individual: Kris has focussed much of her work on coaching, mentoring and assisting senior and middle managers in their personal development, (mainly from the public and voluntary sectors). Recently, she has with a group of other Psychologists, supported the application for a Special Group to be formed for Coaching in the British Psychology Society. Kris has provided coaching to senior managers in the Police Service, NHS, Universities, Government Departments, Regulatory sector, voluntary organisations and more recently in the commercial sector. She uses a number of tools and techniques to carry out coaching sessions and uses the most appropriate approach to meet the needs of the individual and the situation. The Team: Kris has also worked with a wide range of managers and directors and team memebers to develop improved working in their teams. Kris is qualified to administer a wide range of psychometric tests and regularly uses them to support her coaching and team development work. She has run fun but practical team away days to develop team working with Government Departments and the NHS. This year she has also assisted in the design, development and delivery of a coaching course for senior managers in the Civil Service. The Organisation: Kris has worked on many organisational development projects. These have often centred around organisational and cultural change, equality and gender issues in the work place. Violence Against Women and Elder Abuse: Kris is has been recognised for applying her 'psychological' skills in the specific areas of violence against women and elder abuse. She has been commissioned by Government Departments, Government Offices for the Region, Councils and national charities to carry out projects on these subjects. She is also an associate of the Jill Dando Institute based in University College London and regularly lectures on domestic violence and multi-agency partnership working to address domestic violence.
