David has had extensive managerial success in project management, line management and IT management roles, including technical procurement projects at governmental level, research and development projects in a commercial setting, line management roles in major engineering and operational research departments. His particular interest is in understanding, describing and managing organisational level change in complex social and socio-technical system settings, and  in coaching other senior leaders as they manage their major individual and organisational change projects.

David’s work focusses on the broad needs of businesses to improve their effectiveness and efficiency, applying Lean Service thinking through practical work on organisational change projects, bringing clarity and focus to team goals, behaviours and working methods, and developing individuals through training and coaching.

David a Chartered Engineer, graduate in psychology and holds a doctorate in requirements engineering, and is a qualified executive and career coach. He is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, the Chartered Institute of Management, the British Psychological Society and the Association of Coaching.

After working in a variety of organisations and teams, he has come to realise that the most important quality of effective working is having fun!
